Staffordshire Emotional and Wellbeing Service

The Staffordshire Emotional Health and Wellbeing Service supports young people with their mental health. They’re here for 5 to 18 year olds (and care leavers and those with an education, health and care plan up to the age of 24) who are living with mild to moderate mental health needs.

They offer information advice and guidance, self help tools and up to 6 sessions of direct work. These sessions support young people with presenting issues such as anxiety, anger, low mood, stress, emotional regulation, phobias, identity and self-esteems.

CAMHS 12-18 Year Olds

CAHMS support is aimed at young people aged 12-18 years for young people that are resident in South Staffordshire (excluding both the City of Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire Moorlands).

The Sandbox

Everyone has trouble with their mental health at some point in their lives. The Sandbox is here to support children and young people in South Staffordshire to thrive.
Here you will find a bunch of stuff about why you might sometimes feel bad and how to feel better. You will be able to join loads of online events and share your feelings with others.
If it is the right thing for you, you can also sign up for an assessment for NHS funded therapy (either one-to-one therapy or a digital course).

Phoenix at St Giles, Bereavement support for children and young people

Like adults, young people respond to bereavement in different ways. The experience can make them more vulnerable to health disorders, lower self-esteem, isolation and detachment. But with good support, children, young people and their families can overcome the disadvantages associated with bereavement.
